The aim of the OpenCDI project is to extend the Telepathy framework which already provides a proof of concept integration of a D-BUS based middleware.
It should be the future standart service architecture for all kind of realtime communication.
A kick-off meeting is planned at FOSDEM in brussels to discuss and synchronize future projects.
